Scenic Amenity and Lighting Assessment
The CopperString Project is a proposed power transmission line running generally between Townsville and Mt Isa in North Queensland. This project involves a total of 1028km of transmission line, six substations and associated construction activities including seven temporary workers camps. This corridor covers a diverse cross-section of Queensland landscapes from tropical coastal landscapes through to the outback landscapes of central north Queensland. This Scenic Amenity and Lighting Assessment is a technical study to support an Environmental Impact Statement for the project.
